Those posting signs or advertisements on any building, tree, yard, etc., without prior permission of the property’s owner can be charged with a Class I misdemeanor. First-time violators will be given a warning, but repeat violators will be charged, so please take the time to double-check that you have specific permission from a landowner before posting any signs.

Wave of Lawsuits Over Losses Could Hit a Wall

Finding someone to sue over losses in the mortgage market and the credit crisis is easy. Winning in court, lawyers say, will be hard.

According to the Washington Post, The Homebuilders Association is pushing for “a $7,000 tax credit for first-time home-buyers -- which was approved by a House committee--and is expected to pass in the full House as early as this week [of May 9]. Signs are also strong for the plan in the Senate.
