Stay Safe Out There!
Too many REALTOR® members across the country have become victims of scams, treachery and even murder over the past decade or so. It’s very important that you establish best practices within your offices for staying safe when showing or listing property. Most offices do have some protocol in place, but if you need help or resources to set up a safety program, please check the nar.realtor website for tips, or any of the links below, and let us know if you become aware of sketchy behavior by a client or drop-in who triggers a gut reaction about safety concerns. BRAR is more than willing to blast bulletins when and if there are occurrences in our areas of service. If you are a victim of a crime or a suspicious occurrence, please notify the authorities, your brokerage, and your local association. September is REALTOR® Safety Month.
